Hooray!

We have successfully obtained our China Visas! Of course we had to pay three times as much as the rest of the world, but its official, we will be heading to China soon! It was surprisingly easy to get these visas despite the rumors of how difficult it is for Americans to be granted visas. Also, not only did we get the visas, but we got double entry (30 days each entry for a total of 60 days allowed!). Don't worry I know what you are thinking...we will still be coming home around December first.

After Chiang Mai we will be heading to Laos and Cambodia. We have decided not to spend as much time there as we originally planned. We hope to be in China mid October (after the Chinese new year since everything closes down). Following southern China we will head to Tibet; hopefully we can withstand the cold and altitude!

I know we promised Myanmar pictures and entries; we are still working on those. We needed time to catch up on things. Hopefully we will have some new content for you soon.

Im glad you are supportive of Tibet; we are really excited about it. There is still a lot of planning and permit applying we have to do, but hopefully that goes as smoothly as our visa applications. Glad you enjoyed the Myanmar pictures, i know there was a lot to go through and the temple ones get repetitive.

Miss you and talk to you soon!
